About S.A. Stephenson

I’m S.A. Stephenson (Sally-Annabelle), an Amazon-bestseller dystopian writer

Words are my passion, they always have been. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. Lately, my books are a blend of dystopia and paranormal, set in the near-future. I feature strong women in my books that also represent women who belong to the LGBTQ+ community. I am a proud member of this community and want my work to showcase equality and understanding.

I’ve always loved reading since a child, and have been writing since I was young. My aunt taught me how to type using Mrs. Beacon typewriting courses and as soon as I discovered word processing, I was writing short stories and novellas. I’ve been writing manuscript length stories since a teenager and am now venturing into the publishing world with my writing.

I have a degree in American Studies, and my interest in history and politics have woven themselves into my writing, with my first series answering the question ‘what would happen if Trump became President and the world became a dystopian reality’, I like asking ‘what-if’ questions and seeing where my answers take me.

By day I work in Communications, taking the love of words into everything I do.
